Singapore Red Cross First Aid Course
Singapore Red Cross Academy
First Aid Training
Singapore Red Cross supports the national goal of having a First Aider in Every Home.
Singapore Red Cross Academy conducts a wide range of standard and specialised First Aid courses for volunteers and the community, to empower them to respond to emergencies, at home and abroad. We also hold regular talks in communities and organisations to create awareness about the importance of first aid and to work towards the goal of having a first aider in every home.
“This [Standard First Aid] course was an eye-opener for me. It was also very educational. We cannot always wait for the ambulance to arrive… It provides practical tips on how to handle real-life situations and we learn how to save lives.”

An accident happens when you least expect it. When someone collapses from a cardiac arrest, you only have four minutes to save his or her life before brain damage occurs. First aid knowledge and skills are indispensable to saving lives in times of emergencies, particularly before medical aid arrives. The first aider promotes recovery, provides comfort and relief for the casualty and prevents the condition from worsening.
Anyone can learn first aid and everyone should! Learn first aid to protect your loved ones, friends, colleagues and even a stranger. We have classes covering key areas of first aid training. Download the 2017 training catalogue below and sign up for courses that interest you.
