National University of Singapore Scholarships Application For AY 2019/2020 Academic Year

Important note for Students who are reading iBLOC or Special Term modules

Please do not apply for Financial Aid using your non-graduating Student no. and PIN.


(b) Prospective Students/Returning National Servicemen reading the Academic Year 2019/2020 modules

You may apply for Financial Aid once you have applied for admission. Application will close on 1 April 2019. Please apply via the Undergraduate Financial Aid Portal under (1) Prospective Undergraduate Students and select Academic Year 2019/2020 Semester 1 using your full-time undergraduate admission application no. and PIN2.

After 1 April 2019, if you are in need of financial assistance, you may login to state the reason(s) for your late application and proceed to apply accordingly. We will consider your application on a case-by-case basis.

(c) Prospective Undergraduate Part-time Students 

You will be informed via email through your faculty when Financial Aid opens for application in July/December.

1 If you are reading iBLOC modules, you will be considered for the NUS Study Loan which will help to pay for up to 20% of your tuition fee. You can apply for the Tuition Fee Loan and Post-Secondary Education Account (PSEA) to pay for the balance of your tuition fee. If you are reading Special Term modules, you can additional apply for the CPF Education Scheme and/or Mendaki Tertiary Tuition Fee Subsidy to pay for the balance of your Special Terms tuition fee. 2 This set of admission application no. and PIN was given to you when you applied for admission to NUS full-time undergraduate course. Please do not use the set of admission application no. given to you during your application for the iBLOC Programme or Special Terms.

3 The Financial Aid Package comprises the NUS Study Loan, NUS/Faculty Bursary, CDC/CCC Bursary, MOE Bursary, NUS Student Assistance Loan, Residential Programme Bursaries/UTown Bursary and the Work-Study Assistance Scheme. These schemes can help pay up to 100% of your living and accommodation expenses, if you are found eligible. More information can be found at:

Application for Donated Scholarships for AY2019/2020

Prospective students will be considered through their application for admission to NUS. No separate scholarship application is required. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted via email by 31 August 2019.


Please refer to your respective faculty’s website for the application details for scholarships administered by the faculties. If you are successful, you will be notified separately by your faculty from August 2019. For further enquiries on faculty-based scholarships, you may wish to contact your faculty directly.
