NUS – Residential Programme Bursaries
The bursary quantum is at least $400 and is offered depending on the assessed level of neediness of the applicant.
Re-application is required every year.
Needy Singaporean full-time undergraduates and resides in one of the five Residential Colleges* or the seven Halls of Residence** may be considered.
**Only applicable to students residing at the Eusoff Hall, Kent Ridge Hall, King Edward VII Hall, Raffles Hall, Sheares Hall, Temasek Hall and PGP House (must participate in the PGP House Programme; not applicable to PGP Residences).
Award is tenable for one year. A fresh application is required each academic year. The bursary will only be disbursed if accommodation fees are charged. The bursary will be used to offset your accommodation fees directly. Half of the bursary will be disbursed in Semester 1 and the remainder will be disbursed in Semester 2 of the academic year.
To be considered for the Residential Programme Bursary, you are required to apply for Financial Aid here.
Upon satisfactory compliance of all terms and conditions of the financial aid offer, the funds will be disbursed by the Office of Financial Services twice yearly in half around September and February each year. All fees due to the University will however be deducted from such funds prior to crediting.
Monthly per capita household income refers to the total income of all those living in the household divided by the number of people in the household.
