UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS

Tuition Fees Per Annum (applicable for Academic Year 2017/2018)

Notes for New Students:

1At NUS, students are charged a cohort-based fee. Under the cohort-based fee system, tuition fees for an intake cohort of students will be fixed throughout the student’s entire candidature. While fees continue to be reviewed annually and adjustments made as and when necessary with each new cohort of students, each new cohort will know the exact amount of tuition fees they have to pay per year throughout their entire candidature. This enables students to plan better for the financing of their undergraduate studies.

2The per annum fee amount, covering Semesters 1 and 2 of an Academic Year (AY), is payable in two equal instalments at the start of each semester. Semestral fees are payable as long as a student’s candidature remains active. Students who read modules in the Special Term will pay a per-module fee amount.

3Fees for programmes offered by Yale-NUS College may be found on its website.

4For Singapore citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents, the applicable GST is subsidised by the Ministry of Education (MOE).

5For International Students from the intake cohort of AY2016/2017 and beyond, the GST on tuition fees will be borne by these students. The tuition fees reflected here are inclusive of GST.

6Students who are not in receipt of the Tuition Grant will have to pay the non-subsidised fee amounts as quoted here (which are inclusive of the prevailing GST).

7For the time being, Faculties/Schools not on a modular curriculum structure (esp. Medicine and Dentistry) do not offer Special Term modules.

UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS

Tuition Fees Per Annum (applicable for Academic Year 2017/2018)

Notes for Existing Students:

4These fees are exclusive of GST. For existing students, the applicable GST is subsidised by the Ministry of Education (MOE)

5Students who are not in receipt of the Tuition Grant will have to pay the fee amounts as quoted here (which are inclusive of GST).

6For the time being, Faculties/Schools not on a modular curriculum structure (esp. Medicine and Dentistry) do not offer Special Term modules.
