APB Foundation Scholarship for Students with Physical Disabilities

We partnered Asia Pacific Breweries (APB) Foundation and Microsoft Singapore to offer the APB Foundation for Persons with Disabilities and Microsoft YouthSpark Scholarship to youths with disabilities. We believe that every child, including those with disabilities, has equal rights to education and we want to help them fulfill their educational aspirations.

 

APB Foundation Scholarship for Persons with Disabilities

Offering the APB Foundation for Persons with Disabilities and Microsoft YouthSpark Scholarship to youths with disabilities

 

The Asia Pacific Breweries (APB) Foundation Scholarship for Persons with Disabilities is a multi-disciplinary scholarship that recognises excellent academic results of students with physical, hearing, visual or speech impairment, and enables them to complete their undergraduate studies at a recognised local university. Each scholar will receive an annual sum of S$12,000 to support their pursuits of higher education in the following local universities:

  • National University of Singapore
  • Nanyang Technological University
  • Singapore Management University
  • SIM University
  • Singapore Institute of Technology
  • Singapore University for Design & Technology

 

To apply
Application for this scholarship is open to all Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents who

  • are diagnosed with a permanent, physical, sensory or developmental disability,
  • have good GCE ‘A’ Level and/or Diploma results,
  • are applying for full-time degree programme in local universities or a part-time degree programme at SIM University.

 

Scanned copies of these supporting documents are also necessary:

  • Photocopy of front and back of Identity Card
  • Medical certification of disabilities
  • Academic records and transcripts
  • Resume
  • Records of personal achievements

Microsoft YouthSpark Scholarship

The Microsoft YouthSpark Scholarship seeks to nurture and develop candidates who demonstrate excellent academic credentials, strong leadership potential, and a passion for creativity, higher learning and innovation.
